[additionally] In memory of 1 Regt Sergt Major; 1 [4?] Trumpet Major; 2 Troop Sergt Majors; 8 Sergts; 7 Corpls; 1 Farrier and 95? Privates. of the 2nd Dragoon Guards (Queens Bays) who were either killed in action, died of their wounds, or of disease or exposure during the campaigns of 1857, 1858 and 1859 in India. This tablet is erected by the Officers of the Regiment AD 1860.
