	Register Entry	IN MEMORIAM In loving and sorrowful memory of our darling father George James Preston Gilbert who departed this life on the 29th June 1916 after a long and painful illness. One loving face is from us gone, One voice we loved is still. A place is vacant in our home Which never can be filled. God loved him best And took him to his heavely rest. With patience he suffered, his troubles were sore. But now it has ended, he suffers no more. He sleeps, we will have him in quiet to rest The parting was painful but God knoweth best.
