Inscription  Here lieth the body of Henry Harington, Cornet in the 7th Regiment, Light Cavalry, and youngest son of the late William Harington, Esq., of the Madras Civil Service, who died on the 22nd April 1823, in the 18th year. ""What is your life? it is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time and then vanisheth away."" James 4, 14th verse. ""Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."" Matt. 24, 44th verse.
