Mentioned in the Despatch of the Chief Engineer, Oude Field Force, 25th November 57; in that of General Havelock, 15th November 57; in that of Colonel R.Napier, 5th October 57; in that of Sir J. Outram, 25th November 57. Received the thanks of Government, 57. Medal and Clasp
