Inscription  Sacred to the Memory of William Jones the beloved son of Thos Prynn and Elizabeth Jones Born 27 March 1852 Died at Sea 26th April 1875. He was a pupil of this college from 1859-1866. In 1869 he joined a mercantile firm in Rangoon. By his ability and uprightness he gained the esteem and confidence of his employers and was made partner in 1874. He was beloved by all who knew him and his sorrowing parents record with deep affection that he never caused them a moments anxiety.
