Medal. Mentioned in the following Despatches: by Brigadier Rowcroft, 28th December 57; by Brigadier-General G. H, Macgregor, 25th February 58; by Brigadier Rowcroft, 22nd February 58, 6th March 58, 19th April 58, 6th and 18th January 59, and 24th January 59. Received the thanks of the Governor-General, 12th January 58. Promoted to the rank of Brevet-Major for services during the Mutinies. |
