Body of text  ROBERT ANDERSON TROTTER, born 13th June 1906 at Edinburgh, son of Archibald Trotter and Grace Anderson; educated at Edinburgh Royal High School 1920-4, University of Edinburgh and New College 1924-30, MA (1927), Moray House 1949-50, Dip in Religious Education 1950; licensed by Presbytery of Edinburgh 31st March 1930; assistant Edinburgh Trinity College and Moray-Knox 1930-1; ordained and inducted Perth St Columba's 23rd September 1931; demitted on appointment to Indian Ecclesiastical Establishment at Lahore 29th June 1937; resigned 1948. Honorary Chaplain to the Forces (Government of India) 1944. Married 25th July 1934, Mary Hoggen, born 19th May 1905, daughter of Robert Sutherland and Mary Hoggan, and has issue, Grizel Sutherland, born 24th September 1935; Alastair Robert, born 3rd December 1942, died 16th July 1954. Publication – 'St Columba's, Perth', Perth, 1937.
