Detail  [At his residence in Portland Place. Born 2 March 1782 as eldest son of Sir William Curtis, Bt., MP, Mayor of London in 1796, banker, by Anne Constable. Married 19 Nov 1803 Mary Anne, only child of George Lear, esq. of Leytonstone, 7 sons and 9 daughters including the tenth child, Augustus John Curtis, who died 31 Aug 1845, a Lieut. 7th Madras Cavalry, and the eleventh child, Edward Constable Curtis, who died 20 June 1837, a Lieut. 1st Madras Cavalry]
