In Eaton Place. Only son of Admiral Sir Thomas Troubridge, Bt. by Miss Frances Richardson. Entered the navy 1797. In Feb. 1805 made a Lieut. of the Blenheim, 74, following his father's flag in the East Indies. Later on the Greyhound, as Commander. On the 12 Jan 1807 his father left Madras in the Blenheim to assume the chief command at the Cape. The Blenheim and the Java frigate were separated from the Harrier brig during a violent gale on the night of the 1 Feb. and were not afterwards heard of. ""Capt.
