Service  Captain Bacon served during the Mutinies till March 1858, and was present at the actions near Agra against the Neemuch mutineers on 5th July 1857, against the Mhow and Indore Insurgents 10th October 1857, and in the engagement at Maun Singh's Garden near Allygurh 24th August 1857. Medal.
