Service  Colonel Bogle served in the first Burmese War. Present at the taking of the Fort of Rungpore in Assam, and of the stockades of Duffa and Beessa, in the Now-Dheeing, in 1825. Medal. At the defeat of the Dewanghiri (Bootan) Rajah, and capture of his stockade at Sooban Kottah, in 1836. Served in the 2nd Burmese War. Present at tbe taking of Martaban and Rangoon, April 1852. Severely wounded. Medal. At the recapture of Beeling stockade, April 1853.
