At the relief of Lucknow by the army under Sir Colin Campbell, November '57. Served with the 3rd Brigade Horse Artillery at the action of Cawnpore, 6th December '57, With Walpole's Column through Etawah and Mynpoory on Futtehghur, January '58, With Sir J. Grant's Column in all the operations left bank of Ganges and terminating in capture of Meeagunge, March. With His Excellency Sir C. Campbell at the siege and capture of Lucknow, March '58. With Walpole's Column at Rooeya, Alligunge, and other affairs, 15th and 28th April. With the Army under the Commander-in-Chief at Bareilly, 5th May '58. With Brigadier Troup's Force at the actions of Moodipore and Russoolpore, 21st and 25thOctober '58. At the capture of the Fort of Mittowlie, 10th November '58, and at other operations terminating in the affair at Mendee and Biswah, 18th November '58. Medal and $ Clasps.
