Service  Surgeon Campbell was attacked by 300 Sikimites, and fought for 14 hours in an open stockade, against 800 men, when the enemy had 40 killed and wounded, and his party had 1 killed and 9 wounded, in November 60. Accompanied Colonel Gawlers Force across the Runjeet Kiver, on the 3rd February 61, under fire from the enemy.
