Present under Sir Henry Burnard at the battle of Badlee-ka-Serai, on the 8th June 57; in the affair under the walls of Delhi, on the 14th July 57, under Brigadier Chamberlain. Severely wounded. Served at the siege and capture of Lucknow in March 58, under Command of Lord Clyde, and in the subsequent operations in Oude, under Sir Hope Grant. Medal and 2 Clasps. |
