Served with the Force under Lord Clyde throughout the relief of Lucknow, November 57. Battle of Cawnpore, and defeat of the Gvvalior Contingent, 5th and 6th December 57. Present at Futtehghur, and throughout the siege; storm, and capture of Lucknow, March 58. Served with General Grants Column in Oude. 58. Present at the actions of Barree, Nawabgunge, Simree, and Selimpore. Ensigns Commission, Unattached. Medal and 3 Clasps
