Served as Judge Advocate-General with the Army of Lucknow, from February to April 58. Medal and 2 Clasps. Mentioned in the following Despatches of Major-General Sir H. Barnard, 8th June 57; of that of Major-General J. Reed, 14th July 57 and 17th July 57; of Major-General Sir A. Wilson, 22ud September 57; of His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief, 22nd March 58. Received the thanks of Government, 5th November 57, 4th December 57, and 5th April 58. Received the Order of Campanion of the Bath, 18th June58.
