Inscription  This Cenotaph, raised by the hand of an affectionate uncle, bears record of the high talents and many virtues of his nephew, Lieut.-Colonel John Weston, of the Bengal Military Establishment. He died deservedly lamented in the prime of life, on his voyage from Prince of Wales Island to Calcutta, Anno Domini MDCCCXIX.
