Married 14th August 1889, Helen Robertson Hay, daughter of William Forsyth Arthur, Broomhill Park, Aberdeen, and has issue – Helen Hay Arthur Johnstone, born 17th May 1890 (Married Mitchell Stewart), George William Johnstone, MC, captain 2nd Battalion Royal Scots, born 9th September 1893, killed in action on the Somme, France, 14th July 1916, May Arthur, born 20th October 1895 (Married 14th June 1921, Norman Birrell, Calcutta). |
