Mentioned in the Despatch of Sir H. Grant, who commanded the Cavalry Division at the capture of Delhi, 1859. Served with the Force under Sir S. Cotton, E.C.B, in Eusufzaie in 1858. Served in the Expedition under Brigadier-General N. B. Chamberlain, C.B., against the Mahsood Wuzeerees. Present at the repulse of the night attack on Camp Palooseen and at the forcing of the Burrarah Pass, May 1860,
