Present with the assaulting Column on the Burmese stockades at Rungpore, at the capture of the Fort, pursuit of the Burmese, and liberation of the Assamese captives. Medal. Employed as Adjutant to Lord Amhersts Escort to the Upper Provinces, in 26. Present in Oude in 26. At the taking of the Fort in Daoodpore, and the flight of the Killadar Sirteepeehal Sing, in 27. Commanded a Detachment in the Fort of Sertabgur, and held it during the mutiny of the King of Oudes troops, rescuing the Killadar Hajee Imamee, in 27. Commanded 20 miles of the Frontier of Saugor, including the ports of Maltone, Korye, and Kymlassa, during the Bundlecund Insurrection, 48. Served throughout the Indian Mutinies, 57, 58, 59. Medal. |
